The Connectathon September 2026

About the Connectathon:

The Connectathon is a biannual “24 HR for Earth and Humanity” gathering, where people of good will and curious minds from all over the world meet to connect and speak about the future we want to live into. 

1. We gather and hold space for 24 hours to connect with ourselves, with each other, with our past and with the world. 
2. We explore who we are, where we are and, above all, start creating the story of who we want to be and where we want to go as a species and a civilisation.
3. We take the insights and the new connections we make and create plans of action between here and the next gathering.

• If the nation-state developed partly through the requirement to organise security and war, can the same structure become the primary vehicle for making war obsolete?

• Do I have a misleading perception when stating that these are the fundamental conditions of human stability?
  What happens when a civilisation systematically rewards one cluster of human capacities while marginalising another?

• What kinds of structures allow the full spectrum of human capacities to participate in shaping collective life?
  What structures allow disagreement, resistance, injustice and competing interests to be transformed without violence?

• Would peace have a better chance if society allowed, respected and cultivated the full authentic spectrum of human capacities, rather than organising power around a narrow model of dominance, competition and control?
